These are the steps to create a new MS-Word Document.

1.Click the start button, you'll get a pop-up window.

2.Click all programs.

3.In those programs list click Microsoft Office.

4.Finally click Microsoft Word.

You will get a new document in MS-Word.

Easiest way I know is press Ctrl + S on keyboard at same time, Save As window will open, by default it opens My Documents on computer. Navigate to folder where you want to save file and write name for file in File name: text box at bottom, choose file type from Save as type: drop down list. Press Savebutton.
