Here's how I do it:
1. Read through the entire question and identify exactly what you are being asked to do.
2. Decide what formula is needed to solve the problem, then write it down.
3. Go back through the problem and pull out the data needed for the formula (quite often there is a lot of data that you will not need).
4. Solve the problem.
5. (and this part is really important) Look at your answer and compare it to what is being asked. Ask yourself if the answer is reasonable; does it make sense?
Facts and Assumptions
3 R's stand for Read, Represent, Relate and ESP stands for Equate, Solve, and Prove........ These are the process in solving word problems using equations.
A logical process. There are different methods for solving different problems and the only thing that they have in common is they all require logical progression.
Algorithm
there are seven steps in scientific methods to solve the problem 1.Systamatic observation 2.Controlled experment 3.Qualitative reasoning 4.Quantitative reasining 5.Mathamatical modeling 6.Predection 7.Verification

Scientist follow the scientific method for solving problems.
the concept of problem solving problems in algorithms are problem solving in computer, what is the algorithms for solving in problems, what is the rule o algorithms in problem solving, what are the steps to solving a problem with your computer and engineering steps for solving problems

what do the following mean in solving math problems? Use a four-step plan Pattern Table
There are normally six steps for solving numerical problems and the order of operations is BIDMAS meaning Brackets, Indices, Division, Multiplication, Addition and Subtraction in that order.
Yes
The rules for solving word problems are read the problem, decide what you need to do, solve the problem, and check your answer.
The steps vary A LOT depending on the specific problem.
3, analyze, calculate, and evaluate.
