if you have the mix you pour it into a good sized bowl (depending on size of cake) then mix with olive oil water and 3 eggs mix well, butter pan so it doesnt stick, then pour the batter into the pan (dont forget to preheat oven to 350) then put into oven and let cook for a while (no real exact time keep checking on it. when you think it might be done stick a knife through it and see if its all cooked if it is wait until its cooled you can now add frosting, icing etc. otherwise the heat on the cake will melt the frosting. have fun!

Slowly add the dry ingredients to the butter, egg mixuture alternating with any other liquid like milk, buttermilk, or water that's called for. Only mix the final batter until the flour is aborbed, but no longer so it won't become tough. Then you put it in prepared pans and bake it.

If you are asking, how to make a cake?, here's my family's recipe Weigh however many eggs you want to use, measure out that weight in butter, sugar and flour. Mix together the butter and sugar until fluffy ish. Sift in the flour and mix that in, add and stir in the eggs. I normally add a drop of milk. Make sure it is all mixed together Pour in to greased tin Make sure mixture is level Cook in middle of ove turned on to gas mark 5 and cook for 15 mins for a 12 inch cake longer if bigger.
