Based on my experience:

First, it is one of the most painful conditions you can have.

Sharp, stabbing, excruciating pain in the center of the chest which radiated to left side then into shoulder and collar bone and left scapula area. The pain is worse when lying down on the back or left side and centers around the left scapula and heart. It worsens when taking a deep breath. It is alleviated by leaning forward.

Difficulty catching a breath which is alleviated by leaning forward.

Dry cough.

Chills.
