there are a lot of symptoms of a bad PCM.
- stalling
- overheating (failure to turn on radiator fans)
- dead battery (failure to turn on alternator)
- no start (failure to engage ignition)
the PCM controls many functions in engine management. usually when the vehicle is warm you will notice problems, because of the location it is poorly protected from heat and/or elements. the are several site online where you an purchase PCMs preprogrammed and flash updated for your vehicle. oh yeah, one more thing, Chrysler sebrings like most Chrysler vans are notorious for PCM failure.
