inside the transmission. visible once you remove the transmission pan
on the side if the tranny. its called the PRNDL switch. look for cig pack size black plastic and cable, bingo. that be it.

Hey dude, you did not specify if it is automatic or standard transmission. If it is Manual Transmission, it is located on top of the transmission.

there isn't one ( 96 it start that year) you only have a cam sensor in the base of the distributor.
