There are many symptoms that are associated with rubella, but you don't necessarily have to have all of the symptoms to have the disease.

A partial list of symptoms:

  • Flu like syndrome.
  • A rash that begins on the face and spreads to the trunk.
  • The rash fades after 3 days.
  • Low fever
  • Swollen glands
  • Joint pain
  • Conjunctivitis
  • Headache
  • Skin may shed after rash is gone
