Either a Capo or a tuner
Song 2, by Blur.
A clip on tuner measures the vibration of the instrument, rather than using a microphone, so it should be better at tuning your instrument, even if other instruments are playing at the same time. But if you have an electric guitar rather than acoustic, the instrument may not vibrate enough to activate the tuner's pickup. If you can try one out, before purchasing would be best.
The clip-on guitar turner that is recommended for beginners is an easy to use tuner: the Krog AW2G. This is all subjected to your own feel for playing guitar, but it has the best ratings.
Some acoustic guitars have only 4 strings, such as an acoustic bass or ukelele, but you will still be able to play some notes and chords on a 6-string missing 2, though not effectively. BUT... if you watch the video clip of the B-52's Rock Lobster, you will notice the guitarist only has the top 2 strings and the rest are removed, though he didn't seem to play any chords, just single strings.
Into the tuners machine head (the part with the hole you twist) and wrap it around till its in tune, make sure its sitting properly on the nut of the guitars neck and than clip off the rest with wire cutters or a lighter for all you smokers out there.

Crowder says the name was on the guitar when he bought it. He just left it there.

One could visit Musicians Friends to shop for LR Baggs products. LR Baggs has Acoustic sounding items and a Direct Box for an Acoustic preamp. They also sell accessories such as belt clip mixer and microphones.
No such thing.
You can attach it to the bottom of two clips so that you can flip it over and stick the clip in when you are out of ammo.
