Best Answer

it's photosynthesis, fermentation, respiration, and active transport/active transport

when talking about the nervous system, and asking to name the two types of cell processes, the answer is Efferent (toward the tissues) and Afferent (toward the spinal cord/brain).

The seven life process that cell need to do are :

1. Reproduction : -This is one of the most important life process. A species has to carry forward its progeny or else it would become extinct.
2. Movement : - A cell needs to be able to move or change shape.
3. Metabolism :- The cell needs to always continue the basic biological process to maintain itself. They include catbolic and anabolic processes.
4. Respiration :- This is about generation of energy to drive metabolic processess and reproduction and cell maintenance.
5. Nutrition :- Ingestion of food can be done by various means depending on whether an organism is unicellular or multicelllular.

6. Sense :- an organism needs to be able to sense it's environment with at least one of the 5 senses. 7. Excretion :- Getting rid of waste products.

How is a cells shape important to its job?

The cells shape is specific to it's job. A cells shape is important because it functions as the vehicle in which different processes occur.

Why do some cells have more mitochodria?

Cells such as liver cells, sperm cells and muscle cells have more mitochondria. This is because they are more metabolically active and need a plentiful supply of ATP (adenosine triphosphate) for metabolic processes. For example, many chemical processes occur in liver cells and sperm cells are known for movement.

What compound is involved in many life processes ionic or molecular or both?

Both types of compounds are involved in the many life processes that occur in living cells.

What does a biochemist study?

A biochemist studies chemical processes that occur in living organisms. They also study DNA and parts of cells in organisms.

What do the membranous compartmentalization of eukaryotic cells require?

Rephrase the question so that it makes sense! It allows metabolic processes to occur simultaneously :)

Mitochondria prokaryotic or eukaryotic?

Mitochondria are membrane-bound organelles found in eukaryotic cells but not in prokaryotic cells. Biochemical processes, such as respiration and energy production, occur in the mitochondria.

What two processes do electrochemical cells involve?

Electrochemical cells work upon the twin principles of Oxidisation and reduction of chemicals. Oxidisation is the portion of a redox reaction whereby electrons are lost by a substance, and reduction is the process by which electrons are taken up by a substance. Both processes occur in different cells and occur spontaneously, to produce a flow of electrons through an internal and external circuit (the external circuit being where the device receiving power is connected).
