There are far more than just three digestive enzymes. Broadly speaking, they can be split into 3 groups: * Carbohydrases - digest carbohydrates. Includes amylase and maltase. * Lipases - break down lipids (fats and oils). * Proteases - digest proteins. Includes pepsin and trypsin.
