you need an hydrocarbon of some form to act as fuel (alkane or alkene) and you need oxygen (O2) and you need energy in the form of heat
In order for a fire to take place, you need the three following:
1. Oxygen
2. Heat
3. A burnable material
fuel,oxygen,heat
The three contituents of fire include oxidizing agent, heat and fuel. The oxidizing agent is usually oxygen in most cases. A fire occurs when the three elements are present in the right proportion.
I have a thory of elements. If your birth-stone is Ruby your element is fire. Sapphire Water. Emerald Nature. (I will do more next week. I do three every week)
Actually, I think there are four different elements: water, fire, earth, air. Or, at least according to W.I.T.C.H. I don't really know in terms of science.
Total 108 elements are found in earth till 2007 dec 56 to 72 elements are in the human body, 22 to 36 are in the animal body 18 22 elements in birds are found
Because fuel is a FLAMMABLE material.
Water, fire, and wind.
Heat, fuel, oxygen.
fuel,oxygen,heat
Because if you remove any one of the three elements - the fire cannot continue (or start).
The three points in the fire triangle are fuel, heat and oxygen. To stop a fire you need to take one of those elements away from the triangle :)
It will displace the oxygen in the room, thus depriving the fire of one of the three essential elements to sustain fire (fuel, heat, and oxygen). Since there a very high probability that there would be active electricity in the room, water would be a bad idea.
following three element of conduct are:- 1. air 2. fire 3.water
The three contituents of fire include oxidizing agent, heat and fuel. The oxidizing agent is usually oxygen in most cases. A fire occurs when the three elements are present in the right proportion.
The fire triangle consists of three components - Heat, Oxygen and Fuel. All three MUST exist together for a source of ignition to start a fire, which in effect is a chemical reaction. If you remove one of these elements, then the reaction can not occur and hence, no fire.
fire/heat is one of the essential thing in order to complete the life cycle.. and so with the water and air. The absence of one of these elements would definitely destroy the balance of the cycle. -samishiyoru
If you mean ethereal elements (Fire, Water, Earth, Wind) then three. But if you're talking the periodic table of the elements...then I am not sure. Oxygen and carbon are definites...
