  1. First & formost, It's a must for Muslims to believe in all God's Messengers & in the Holy revelations they received from Him. These two beliefs are among the six pillars of faith in Islam & this is assured many times in the Holy Quran itself, example: (The Messenger believeth in what hath been revealed to him from his Lord, as do the men of faith. Each one (of them) believeth in Allah, His angels, His books, and His apostles. "We make no distinction (they say) between one and another of His apostles." they say: "We hear, and we obey: (We seek) Thy forgiveness, our Lord, and to Thee is the end of all journeys). Holy Quran, ( 2 : 285).
  2. Holy books, other than Quran, were subject to many alterations by many people through different periods of time. The original texts of Divine Books, other than Quran, were lost altogether and only their translations exits today. The Quran, on the other hand, exists exactly as it was revealed by God (Allah) to the Prophet; not a word, nay, not a syllable of it, has been changed. "Indeed it is We who have sent down the Quran, and indeed it is Us who shall preserve it." Holy Quran, (15 : 9)
  3. In the former Divine Books man mixed his words with God's but in the Quran we find only the words of God in their pristine purity. This is admitted even by the opponents of Islam.
  4. The former Divine Book were sent down in languages which have become extinct long ago. The language of the Quran, on the other hand, is a living language; millions of people speak it, and millions more know and understand it. This is not the same with the other holy books, example: Jesus PBUH spoke Aramaic. From Aramaic, his life-story was translated into Hebrew. From Hebrew it was translated into Greek. ; Then from Greek to Latin, and then finally from Latin to English.
  5. Each one of the existing sacred Books has been addressed to a particular nation. In contrast to this, the Holy Quran is addressed to all mankind as the message of Islam is universal.
  6. Each of these holy books contains a number of commands which seem to have been meant for a particular period of history and which meet the needs of that age only.In the same manner, all the commands and recommendations of the Holy Quran can be acted upon at any place and in any age. It's an eternal code for human life.
  7. There is no other religious scripture on earth which is orally preserved in its original language by so many and over such a period of time. It's being memorised by children & even by non-Arabs & non Arabic-speaking people. The Almighty God says:(And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition? ). Holy Quran,(54 : 17).
  8. Unlike all other Holy books, It's impossible to find any mistake even a slight one in the Holy Quran, It's very accurate & authentic in all fields including language, science, history. On the contrary, you can find scientific facts & corrections rather than errors or contradictions. This is because it's purely Divine & no single letter is man-made.
  9. Hearing the recited Quran has a very profound effect upon people to a degree makes them shedding tears. This is alone was a reason behind the conversion of many people to Islam even those who don't know Arabic at all.
  10. The Almighty God has made a challenge when saying:(And if you are in doubt as to what We have revealed to Our slave, then produce a chapter like it). Holy Quran, ( 2 : 23). History tells us about Musailama Alkazzab who had tried to imitate the Holy quran & claimed to be a prophet. What was the result? Simply, his inventions made a fun of him !!
  11. Messengers were always supported by Divine miracles from God to convey their message ( The same Message of worshiping the only one God with no one associated to him, no partner , no son ..etc). Miracles were of all types but none was a holy book or revelations except the Holy Quran which is the major everlasting miracle of Muhammad PBUH. Muslims believe that among all the holy books only the Holy Quran is ENOUGH for our guidance, exactly like how we don't need another sun for our planet.
  12. When comparing the contents of the current Holy books & the Holy Quran, you can find that they share many things in common like stories of Messengers. This made non-Muslims claim that the Holy Quran is taken or stolen from these books. The Islamic illustration is simple: All these books are originally from the same Divine source, so no wonder to find similar things. What can totally refute this claim is the differences between them, the following are only examples:
*. The Dogmatic beliefs concerning the Almighty God:

A. ( AWAKE, WHY DO YOU SLEEP, O LORD ? ) [Psalm 4:23]

( GOD: there is no other god besides Him, the Living, the Eternal. Never a moment of unawareness or slumber overtakes Him...)

[Holy Quran 2:255]

B. (God said to Jesus, "You are my son today I have begotten you")

[ Hebrews. 5:5]

( They said, "The Most Gracious has begotten a son"! You have uttered a gross blasphemy. The heavens are about to shatter, the earth is about to tear asunder, and the mountains are about to crumble. Because they claim that the Most Gracious has begotten a son. It is not befitting the Most Gracious that He should beget a son.Every single one in the heavens and the earth is a servant of the Most Gracious. He has encompassed them, and has counted them one by one.All of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection as individuals).

Holy Quran,( 19: 88-95)

C. (For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day He RESTED, and was REFRESHED"

Exodus ( 31:17)

( We have created the heavens and the earth, and everything between them in six days, and no fatigue touched us).

Holy Quran (50:38)

*. Other differences in the details of the stories, only one example:

- The fate of the Pharaoh who drowned in the Red Sea:

In the Biblical story we would believe that the matter ended when the Pharaoh drowned. But the Quran explains further:When he was drowning the Pharaoh confessed his faith in Allah but it was too late, moreover Allah says:

"This day We shall preserve you in your body, so that you may be a sign for those who come after you. But indeed many of mankind are heedless of Our signs"Holy Quran,(10: 92).

In 1898 the tombs of various pharaohs were discovered in the Valley of the Kings, in Egypt. In 1975 Dr Maurice Bucaille, an eminent French surgeon was allowed to examine the mummified body of the pharaoh who had pursued Moses PBUH.

Dr.Bucaille was astonished by the results of his studies & the facts of the Holy Quran. consequently,he published his book (The Bible, the Quran & the Science) in which he estated that Islam, science and religion have always been "twin sisters".

The question that poses itself, if this verse is never mentioned except in the Holy Quran & that body wasn't discovered in the time of Muhammad (PBUH), then who told Muhammad that ?!!! The only possible answer is (God, the Lord of all creations).

*. Two Arabian prophets other than Muhammad (PBUH) are also only mentioned in the Holy Quran, they are Hud (spelled as who'd) (PBUH) who was sent to an ancient Arabian nation called Aad, which is mentioned as a nation that came after Noah (PBUH) too. It is said that Aad nation lived at the south of Saudi Arabia, nearby Yemen. The other Arabian prophet is Salih( PBUH) who was sent to the nation of Thamud.

Too many things mentioned in the Holy Quran about those two prophets & their nations while there's nothing about them in the other holy books.

The city of Aad is called Iram was thought to be only ' a legend ' but it was discovered then viewed from space by NASA in 1992. All what was discovered was of a complete coincidence to what is revealed in the Holy Quran.

The Almighty God talks about their power, transgress & their punishment in many verses, example:

( Do you not see what your Lord did with 'Ad-Iram of the Columns whose like was not created in any land?)

Holy Quran,( 89:6-8)
