All the rivers, creeks, and streams in Antarctica are melt-water streams. Adams Stream flows from Adams Glacier into Lake Miers. Four-mile long Aiken Creek flows from west of Wales Glacier to Many Glaciers Pond, then west to Lake Fryxell. Other rivers and streams include Alp River, Lawson Creek, Onyx River, Priscu Stream, Rezovski Creek, and Surko Stream.

There are two rivers in Antarctica, the Onyx River, and the Alph River.

Another Answer

Because 98% of the continent is covered by an ice sheet, Antarctica is not known for its rivers. However, melt-water does flow in the summer months, and has formed the Onyx River, which flows seasonally for about 32 miles. What does not flow into Lake Vanda, is absorbed by the soil.

This is the longest melt-water river on the continent. \

There are other melt-water rivers, including Adams Stream, Aiken Creek, Alph River, Lawson Creek, Priscu Stream, Rezovski Creek, Surko Stream, and one that remains unnamed.

There may also be other unnamed melt-water rivers on the continent that have not yet been seen or documented.

Antarctica is not known for its rivers. Ninety-eight percent of the continent is covered with ice.

All flowing water that is named as a 'river' on Antarctica is seasonal, glacial melt that occurs during the summer season. The most prominent melt water is named the Onyx River, which flows for more than 30 miles. However, none of these glacial melts flow into the sea.

Ninety-eight percent of Antarcitca is covered with an ice sheet. This means that surface lakes and rivers do not exist there.

Seasonal glacial melting can produce running water -- endorheic drainage, such as in the 32-mile long Onyx River, which flows into Lake Vanda.

To date, several sub-glacial lakes have been identified in Antarctica; melt-water below the ice cap. Lake Vostok is the most notable of these.

No major river runs through Antarctica.

Ninety-eight percent of the continent is covered with an ice sheet, thus preventing the formation of any river.

From what I heard there is a lake in Antarctica called Lake Vostok, but I don't think that there's a river in Antarctica.
