3. Swelling which is the white blood cells crowding around the wound to fight bacteria.
4. Pain which is due to the pressure and swelling.
1)external barriers 2)nonspecific responses 3)specific responses
tissue repair, formation of inflammatory exudate, vascular and cellular responses
the signs of an inflammatory response are redness, heat, swelling, and pain.
The immune response is how your body recognizes and defends itself against bacteria, viruses, and substances that appear foreign and harmful. The inflammatory response (inflammation) occurs when tissues are injured by bacteria, trauma, toxins, heat, or any other cause.

The inflammatory response is called a general defense because the response is similar regardless of the pathogen. It is a fundamental response of the body to injury and disease."Because the inflammatory response is the same no matter what the pathogen, it is called the body's general defense." Systemic response is a medical term which means that your whole body is responding to a physical crisis or trauma or exacerbation of certain diseases (especially inflammatory and autoimmune diseases). There is a medical condition known as systemic inflammatory response syndrome, in which the body reacts to trauma or certain surgical procedures, but no medical term "officially" known just as systemic response syndrome.
