Newly created supervisors are usually assigned a 'mentor' to guide them through the minefield of starting out as a super. Once the new supervisor feels confident they can cope on their own, they 'graduate' from the mentoring program.

Mentors are usually Senior supervisors for the same category as the new super has been assigned to. Supervisors are always available to each other for guidance.
