Are you referring to the laws of thermodynamics?
If so, the first law is the law of conservation which states that energy is neither created nor lost, it only changes form. The second law is the law of entropy which very simply put states that heat will flow to cool areas and even itself out.
If two objects of different temperature are brought into contact, internal energy is transferred via heat. If two objects collide, kinetic energy is transferred between them.
Conduction and Radiation.
atmosphere and hydrosphere
Heat can only be transferred if there IS a temperature difference. (If two objects have the same temperature, nothing will happen).
The energy in a crash can be transferred in a variety of ways. The most significant way is through mechanical and physical deformation. In a head on collision between two cars, the energy travels through the front of each car, crumpling the metal and machinery. Energy can then be transferred in the form of heat. Although this energy isn't as significant as mechanical energy, during the moment of impact there will be a trace amount of heat created through the scraping of metal. Energy is also transferred through sound waves. When two vehicles collide, the sound of the scraping metal is the transfer of some of the energy through the air.
The first and second laws of thermodynamics.
Energy can be transferred from one location to another as in the sun's energy travels through space to Earth. The two ways that energy can be transferred are by doing work and heat transfer. Also energy can be transferred from one object to another.

Heat energy is the energy that is transferred from one point to the another owing to the temperature difference between the two points

The transfer of energy from one object to another varies as the type of energy being transferred. If we consider billiards, we see the kinetic (mechanical) energy of one ball transferred to another by contact. The transfer of thermal energy can be accomplished via conduction, convection or radiation. There is more, but specific answers require specific questions. Additionally, conservation laws apply in all cases.
