Yes. Cartoon Network & Boomerang are two different channels, however both channels are not available on all cable or satellite providers. Typically Cartoon Network is the default one to offer. Boomerang is either not offered at all or it cost more.

Personally , I prefer Boomerang because you get to see many of the older cartoons which , in my opinion , are better than those shown on Cartoon Network . The two have their own merits and appeal .
