The former lies within the pale of orthodox Christianity in that it postulates that the bodily return of Christ, the bodily resurrection of the dead, and the final resolution of sin is yet future. The latter, however, is clearly heretical in that it presumes all prophecy, including the second coming of Christ and the resurrection of Christians, has been fulfilled.
