The umbra is the central, darkest part of a shadow where no direct light reaches, while the penumbra is the outer region where some light is still visible around the edges of the shadow.
there are your shadow and other's shadow!! lol!!
A rain shadow is a region on the leeward side of a mountain where the air descends and warms, inhibiting cloud formation and precipitation. This results in drier conditions in the interior regions, as the moisture in the air is depleted before reaching these areas.
During an eclipse, the terms umbra and penumbra refer to the different shadow regions created by one celestial body obscuring another. The umbra is the innermost, darkest part of the shadow where the light source is completely blocked, leading to a total eclipse. In contrast, the penumbra is the outer, lighter part of the shadow where only a portion of the light source is obscured, resulting in a partial eclipse. The relationship between these shadow regions determines the type of eclipse observed from Earth.
There are two parts to the Earth's shadow. The dark narrower part is the Umbra (from Latin for shadow). The lighter part is called the Penumbra (from Latin, pane umbra - almost a shadow)
Solar - moons shadow falls on earth.Lunar - earths shadow falls on moon.
If the source is larger than a single point, then there's a region in the center of the shadow where the source is completely blocked and none of it is visible, and another region around the center where only part of the source is blocked and part of it is visible.
There are actually three identified shadow regions in an eclipse; Umbra, penumbra, and antumbra. The umbra is the region where the light is totally obscured. The penumbra (partially shadowed) is the region of partial eclipse - the light is diminished, but not totally. The antumbra is that rather more distant region in the Umbra, where the light source may be perceived as a circle. A lesser known term.

Asia and the Pacific covers two regions: Asia and Oceania are two regions which have the most non commercial forest.
Umbra and penumbra when referred to the moon describes the shadow which is formed when light is blocked from the sun, by the moon. This shadow which falls on the Earth and has two distinct regions; a partially shadowed area which is the penumbra and the centre point a totally dark umbra. We on Earth looking skyward and watching the shadow pass as the Earth revolves would describe the penumbra as a partial eclipse and the umbra as a total eclipse.
light and shadow
I think the words you're looking for are umbra (Latin for "shadow") and penumbra (Latin for "near shadow").They're not really "two shadows", they're more varying degrees of shadow.
