There are two general terms that categorize freshwater ecosystems. Lentic refers to standing bodies of water (lakes, ponds, and inland wetlands) while lotic refers to flowing systems (streams and rivers).
There are three basic types of freshwater ecosystems:
there are two main types the marine and freshwater
running water or lotic ( rivers and streams )
and
standing water or lentic ( ponds and lakes )
Lakes and rivers are 2 types of freshwater biomes.
standing water and running water A+
flowing water and standing water biomes.
The 2 major aquatic are freshwater and Marine ( or saltwater) ecosystems
Marine,Freshwater ☺
Lakes and Seashores
Skate or ray fish have no bones. Only cartilage. I don't know about any freshwater ones one salt ocean.
Eutrophication promotes excessive plant growth and decay and causes a severe reduction in water quality. Phosphorus is a necessary nutrient for plants to live, and is the limiting factor for plant growth in many freshwater ecosystems.
There are a huge number of types of habitats including deserts, coral reefs, woodland forests, and alpine forests. Other habitats include tundras and freshwater ecosystems.
a freshwater mussel
They live in freshwater.
Streams, rivers, ponds, lakes are the four main freshwater ecosystems

freshwater ecosystems
Ponds and rivers are two types of freshwater ecosystems.
They contain elements of both freshwater and saltwater ecosystems.

There are many different types of ecosystems on earth that are categorized into three major classes of ecosystems that include freshwater, ocean, and terrestrial. Ocean ecosystems are the largest covering 75 percent of the earth.
Saltwater/Marine ecosystems and Freshwater ecosystems.
The four types of Aquatic Ecosystems are - 1. Oceans are the largest of the ecosystems covering more than 70 % of the earth's surface. 2. Freshwater bodies like lakes and ponds 3. Flowing fresh water like rivers and streams 4. Wetlands with wet soil and plants that grow in this type of soil
