there are 28 types of uknown. Starting with the first letter of the alphabet including ! and ?. In Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, there is a house in Solaceon Town that is right by the uknown cave. In that house is a boy. If you takeyour uknown to him, He will give you a seal for your pokeballs. I can read it without going to him. :)
