Basically all the noble gases as they have a stable electronic configuration and therefore they would not share their electrons with other atoms.

Actually, the noble gases have been synthesized in labs to form noble gas compounds. Gold and platinum are both unreactive elements. There are probably more though.

The most unreactive elements, called the noble gases, are found in the group 8 of the period table.

Which family contains elements that are highly unreactive?

noble gases are the family that contains element that are highly unreactive

What are elements that do not combine with other elements?

Elements that are extremely unreactive include: Platinum (Pt), Gold (Au), Helium (He), Argon (Ar), Xenon (Xe), Krypton (Kr). These are unreactive because: Platinum and Gold are the bottom two elements in the metals Reactivity series. The rest are inert gases which are all unreactive.

All of the elements in group 18 are unreactive. They are called the noble gases.

Which elements normally do not react with other elements?

The noble gases can be induced to form compounds with other elements only under fairly exotic conditions; normally they're exceptionally unreactive.

Which group of elements is unreactive?

noble gases or group 18

The noble gases

Elements that are uncombined with other elements?

Highly unreactive elements that will not chemically combine include: Platinum (Pt) Gold (Au) Helium (He) Argon (Ar) Krypton (Xe) Neon (Ne) The first two are unreactive because they are at the bottom of the metals reactivity series. The rest are unreactive because they are part of the inert gases.

Group 8a elements are very unreactive elements known as transition metals?

Noble gases.

What is the safest element?

Most elements are completely stable and safe. However, the safest elements would be the most unreactive. So, in that sense, the Inert Gases (exc. Radon, which is radioactive) are probably the safest group of elements, as they are completely unreactive.

Why are group 8 elements unreactive?

Elements react in order to gain a stable electronic configuration, but the group 8 elements already have this, as their outer shells are already filled with electrons. Therefore they have no need to react with anything else, and that is why they are unreactive.

What elements are almost completely unreactive with other elements?

The elements in group 8 - the noble gases (helium, neon, argon, krypton, xenon and radon) - are completely unreactive, as they have a complete outermost energy level ie. a perfect electron configuration.

The elements in group 18 which are generally unreactive are called?

Noble gases
