The Rock Band 2 drums work on all GH games that use the Drums. The notes will be 4 instead of 5 no matter if you have the expansion cymbals. The Drums also Work on World Tour on the PC
Yes, you can use the same guitar, but it won't have the new features on it for World Tour. You won't be able to use the touch-sensitive frets. The only advantages that you get with the touch-sensitive buttons are that you can slide between notes on certain parts of songs without strumming. You can also use slider and tap it instead of strumming on regular notes. However, you can use the regular frets to hit the notes without strumming, as well. But obviously they are not touch sensitive. You would have to play it as normal, but you wouldn't have to strum. Plus you have to get the drums and microphone to play different roles in the band.
Electric guitar, acoustic guitar, drums/percussion, bass, piano, violin, viola, cello. This information was obtained from the CD's (America Town) liner notes.
Just google "guitar tabs" and you'll find the guitar notes for every song imaginable...
Bass guitar strings are tuned to the same notes as the thickest four strings of an electric guitar, but they are tuned one octave lower. So, the same notes, but one octave "deeper".
You can play as the drums, lead guitar, bass guitar, and singer. For the drums, you hit the notes as they come on the screen and you use drum sticks. For guitar, you hold the corresponding notes as they come on the screen then you strum once they get to a certain area in the screen. For singer, (this ones pretty obvious) you sing the words to the song as they come on the screen and you must raise your voice higher and lower depending on what is says to do and you sing into a microphone.
