Flash drives can be used in arcades to transfer high scores, screenshots, combos and dance edits throughout sessions. Certain value-added sellers are now using flash drives as a backup medium. When a business closes each night, a jump drive (flash drive) is inserted and a database backup is saved to the drive. It can also be left there throughout the business day, regularly updating data.
