Petrochemicals are substances separated or chemically derived from petroleum as a starting material. Examples of substances separated from petroleum are gasoline, kerosene, and paraffin. Examples of substances that require chemical processing are ethylene and propylene and their polymers, many alcohols, and a variety of others. The same chemical substance can be a petrochemical or not, depending on the origin of its starting materials. One of the commonest examples of this is ethanol, which can be obtained by the action of yeasts on plants such as barley or by "cracking" petroleum to produce first ethylene and then catalyzed reaction of ethylene to produce ethanol.
Petrochemicals are the substances obtained from petroleum and natural gas.
Is an industry that produces gas, cosmetics, fertilizers, detergents, synthetic fabrics, asphalt, and plastics
fuel , gasoline etc are the products made from petrochemicals
Petrochemicals are the fuel based produce from crude oil. They are used as fuels for cars or lighters.
Petrochemicals are substances extracted from petrol.
Examples are: benzene, ethylene, toluene, propylene, butadiene, cyclohexane and hundred others.
The two classes of petrochemicals are, olefins, which include ethylene and propylene; and aromatics, which include benzene, toluene, and xylene isomers.
yes or no
Burning of fossil fuels and petrochemistry contributes to the pollution of the atmosphere. But also petrochemicals have hundrends of important and indispensable applications.
We have to use for both, there is no choice if we want to maintain our way of life
both have pros and cons Synthetic fibers can often be produced very cheaply and in large amounts compared to natural fibers, but for clothing natural fibers can give some benefits, such as comfort, over their man-made counterparts Natural fibers include those produced by plants, animals, and geological processes. They are biodegradable over time. Synthetic or man-made fibers generally come from synthetic materials such as petrochemicals.

petrochemicals
They can be, but the majority are made from Crude oil. It is probably better to say that Petrochemicals are made from fossil fuels which cover both.

Nylon, polyester, acrylic, olefin
There are two types of biodegradable plastics: bioplastics and plastics made from petrochemicals. Bioplastics are made from renewable resources, like vegetable fats and oils, vegetable starch, or microbiota. Plastics made from petrochemicals are made by combining biodegradable additives which enhance biodegradation.

Products made from crude oil are called petrochemicals and include hundreds of products. You may also do a seach under petrochemicals and obtain more information. See related link.
