We have to use for both, there is no choice if we want to maintain our way of life
Less use of petroleum and electricity can contribute to reducing global warming by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Petroleum is a major source of carbon dioxide emissions, and using alternative forms of energy can help reduce reliance on it. Similarly, electricity generation from fossil fuels also emits greenhouse gases, and transitioning to renewable energy sources can help mitigate global warming.
The most common fossil fuels used to power cars are petroleum spirit (petrol / gasoline) and diesel. It could also be argued that electric cars with rechargeable batteries may be powered ultimately by fossil fuels as the electricity they use is generated at a power station which inturn may use a fossil fuel such as coal or natural gas.
Petroleum is the raw material for the petrochemical industry or it is used as fuel.
Fuels are useful to us. It is useful to us because we use it for our cars
wood and coal
The majority of modern aircraft all use petroleum based fuels, essentially varieties of gasoline or kerosene.
Petroleum, coal, and methane.
Petroleum and natural gas. Also charcoal
Petroleum is called "fossil fuel." Fossil fuels are made after a long time out of decaying organisms. Because it takes so long to create fossil fuels, and because it isn't taking us long to use fossil fuels, they are limited. How much petroleum we have left is unknown, but there is a limit.
Petroleum is distilled into a range of hydrocrabons for the production of fuels (gasoline, diesel, jet fuel), plastics, and various other chemical products.
because there is very less amount of petroleum stored in the earth so for further use we should use it sparingly.
I try not give opinions, just provide facts. So, I will answer the question- If you stop using fossil fuels entirely, what would you give up, and could someone live not using any sossil fuels. It is very difficult to use no fossil fuels. You may give up using a car or public transportation that uses oil products such as gasoline directly, but you home electricity is probably fueled by electric generators that run off of oil or coal. Many products in your home, such as plastics and synthetic rubber are petroleum based. Paint, thinners and solvents are petrochemicals. So, to give up fossil fuels, you would have to give up many items sold in your department and grocery store. The alternative is perhaps more practically. Use fossil fuels wisely, and find ways of using less.
we should minimize the use of fossil fuels and we should use carpools as well as as drive at a moderate speed. we should try to reduce the use of these fossil fuels that might help us in our future & we should use these fossil fuels carefully.
Prius uses batteries and solar power to propel itself along with minimal petroleum fuels.
There will eventually be no fossil fuels to use in the world.
The cutting tourch may use a variety of fuels to include acetylene, propylene, liquified petroleum gas (LPG), propane, natural gas, hydrogen, and MAPP gas.
In general, it is easy to use liquid fuels in engines for transport. Solid fuels are hard to handle: they need to be shovelled or stoked, or moved around with augers and other complex machinery. Gaseous fuels are good for transport engines, but it is hard to obtain a good energy density: either the gas is compressed, making the tank heavy and liable to explode if damaged in an accident; or the tank must be very large, to contain a useful volume of gas at low pressure. The safest, cheapest liquid fuels are oils, and they tend to be derived from petrochemicals. Some gases can be liquefied by compression: butane and propane are examples. These are also derived from petrochemicals.
