The way I learned "French Folk Song" was playing these:
(E String) A A A, G# G# G#, F# G# A E (E is held out for 2 beats)
(A String) D D D, C# C# C#, B B B A (A is held out for 2 beats)
(A String) A B C#, A B C#, A B C# D (D is held out for 2 beats)
(E String Down the Scale) A G# F# E D C# B A B A (A is held out for 2 beats)
d d d c c c b c d a g g g f# f# f# e e e d d e f# d e f# d e f# g e f# g e f#g e f# g a
d c b a g f# e d e d
Hopefully you can figured out the beat!!

no not really i guess you could make up a song but you wouldn't know what notes you were playing and it wouldn't sound as good as a written song but it is really easy to learn how to play the violin
id say (twinkle twinkle little star) or just (french folk song) french folk song is kinda like the a and d scale

If you mean the treble clef line, then it is easier to get the sheet music and follow it there. Otherwise, they are no violin notes in that song.
