The speed of every electromagnetic wave is the same. That includes television waves,

FM radio waves, heat waves, infrared light, green light, purple light and ultraviolet light

waves, microwaves, x-rays, AM radio waves, bluetooth signals, taxi radio waves, garage-

door-opener waves, and gamma ray waves ... because all of these waves are the same thing.

Their speed is 299,792,458 meters per second, or 186,282 miles per second.

Yes and No...electromagnetic waves travel at different speeds in different mediums, however in a vacuum all electromagnetic waves travel at c (3*10^8 m/s) or 186,000 miles per second i believe :P. Scientists created a scalar called the index of refraction for materials that refract light such as glass and water. The index of refraction corresponds to how fast the wave travels in that medium. This is calculated with this formula. index of refraction = speed of light in vacumn/speed of light in medium. for instance water's index of refraction is aproximately 1.3333 so we can say that it travels 33% faster in air then in water.

Are microwaves radio waves?

Yes and No All waves like that or electomagnetic waves that are the same thing but just operate on different frequencies and wavelengths But not microwaves are as much radio waves as they transmit heat signatures are well as slight audio signature Essentially no but they are very similar microwaves are just faster and at a different wavelengths

How are frequency and wavelength of electomagnetic waves realted?

For any wave, frequency x wavelength = speed of the wave.
