Camp means camp
Weedpatch camp was a camp for people that were in the Dust Bowl. They could hardly breathe so they came down to California to live in the Dust Bowl. The children were taught how to do things that would help them get jobs in life such as building and cooking and cleaning. They learned this in Vineland school. When Vineland school got shut down the children used their skills to Build Weedpatch School. Since it is located In Weedpatch Camp it is called Weedpatch Camp School. I hope this helps you
