Well Lewis and his co- commander William Clark has done one of the most epic expedition in history. He and Clark discovered over 177 different plants and animals! They even got to name some or i think all of those plants and animals. They met many different Indian tribes like Blackfeet,Shoshone, Manana's Perce', and many more.
Only one, and that was his sister Jane Meriwether Anderson, born in 1770. Meriwether Lewis was the next born in 1774.

The guy's name was Brady. He was a rough sailor who sold Seaman to Meriwether Lewis for $20 after a lot of lying probably to get the price higher. He lyed about Seaman, who he had named Runt, saving him from drowning three times and all sorts of things like that. Also, while Brady was arguing with Lewis, he started calling Sea (Seaman's nickname) Champion so Sea ended up having three different names in the span of just a few minutes.
