If you know the garter snake is not aggressive and not poisonous, you possibly may not be aware of any other danger it poses. I don't see being afraid of that snake regardless of your awareness of its status and features as unreasonable. My point is! :it is not possible to have no phobias" There is always something there that will scare the hell out of you... This is because we are HUMANS.
so people with phobias of the countryside won't starve in a city.
Nobody is really certain - if we knew for sure, we could always cure them! It's thought that some phobias start with childhood experiences that are not processed in a healthy manner, but allowed to grow out of proportion. However, there are many phobias that we just don't know about. Sometimes people develop phobias that they cannot explain.
Shower Thoughts are also known as Ablutophobia which is a specific phobia. people with this have an irrational fear of bathing or washing. It can affect children and adults and is more common in women than men. People with specific phobias know that their fears are not realistic, but they are unable to address them.

It depends what you mean by 'fears'. Almost everyone has a fear of the 'unknown' - It's natural to be apprehensive of something we cannot see, or know nothing about. If you're talking about phobias (such as a fear of spiders etc) - people usually only really develop phobias as a result of a bad experience (usually in childhood). Most people's phobias disappear as we get older - and more informed.
It is important to know names for the different types of phobias. There is no name for the fear of vulnerability.

It is not only children, but adults, too. The root cause of a phobia is the fear, the definition of phobia, but it is because children do not know enough about the world, so instead of embracing and learning about it, they fear it, causing children to have phobias. It also may be due to past experiences that children have phobias, and those past experiences are fear-related.
