Some properties of a metals are ductile, malleable, and conductive
The other person who answered was wrong because not all metals are considered scientifically hard (ie pure 24k gold is considered soft).
Also "shiny" is not a physical property...well unless you are in 1st grade it is known as luster and all metal have some luster
The main three properties of the metals are malleability (you can shape it easily), ductility (you can turn it into a wire) and conductivity (it will carry heat and electricity very well).
electrical conductivity, malleability, & ductility.
The t2g orbitals in transition metal complexes have three main properties: they are lower in energy compared to the eg orbitals, they are involved in bonding with ligands, and they determine the geometry of the complex. These orbitals are typically d orbitals and are responsible for the color and magnetic properties of transition metal complexes.
Non-metal
UMM... if you're asking how how are the elements classified into three parts, it's: 1) metal 2) nonmetal 3)metalloid
Mercury? its a liquid metal It has metal properties and liquid properties right? someone let me know.
Non-metal
Alloys can help neutralize unwanted properties of a metal
There are three physical properties of aluminum foil. The three properties are solid, ductile, and malleable.
Actinium is a metal because has metallic bonds and the properties of a metal.
Neither it is a metalloid or semi-metal. It has both metallic and nonmetallic properties.
