Meiosis- cell division that produces gametes or sex cells for reproduction
Mitosis- cell division that produces identical, "daughter" cells for things like skin regeneration or replacing dead cells.
Following are the two forms of cell division which takes place in somatic cells and reproductive cells.
Mitosis (Somatic cells, and reproductive cells)
Meiosis (only in reproductive cells)
There are two types of cell division in the living organisms one is Mitotic cell division which occur in the normal body cells of an organism which also replaces the old and worn out cells with new one nd the reproductive cells which come form Meiotic cell division occur only once in a life time for any organism.
two main types of cell division are Mitosis and Meiosis
mitosis, all divisions except one: it can't make sex cells.
Direct division - amitosis; others called this binary fission;
Indirect division- mitosis;
Reduction division- meiosis.
The two main types are Mitosis and Meiosis.
Mitosis, meiosis and binary fission.
Mitosis and Meosis
Mitosis
The process of cell division that forms 2 new nuclei. from my science-HOLT,RINEHART,and,WINSTON.
interphase, cell division
Cell division is when a cell splits in two to make more cells, and the cycle is where the cell does all the other stuff. A full life span of a cell is cell cycle that include cell division+ cell death and cell division cycle is the process of a cell to divide into two.
The key molecules that control and coordinate cell division are called CDK and Cyclin.
Cytoplasmic Division is the process in which the plasma membrane around the middle of the cell is drawn inwards to form a cleavage furrow. This gradually deepens until the cell is split into 2.

The process of cell division that forms 2 new nuclei. from my science-HOLT,RINEHART,and,WINSTON.
Mitosis relates to cell division because mitosis is the process in cell division where the nucleus divides into 2 nuclei.
interphase, cell division
Both meiosis and mitosis are forms of cell reproduction.They both have a prophase and an anaphase.Both are forms of cell reproduction/Both are forms of nuclear division. Meiosis occurs in generative cells and mitosis in somatic cells.
There are 2 cell divisions in meiosis.
There are 2 cell divisions in meiosis.
meiosis
As mouse is a highly organised eucariotic organism. it has 2 different cell division which are called mitosis and myosis
The major differences between plant cell and animal cell :-Animal cell-1. Cell wall is absent in animal cells.2. Chloroplasts and other plastids are generally absent.3. Glyoxysomes are absent in animal cell.4. Centrioles and centrosome in their cytoplasm is present.5. During cell division it forms amphiastral spindle.Plant cell-1. Cell wall is present in plant cell.2. Chloroplasts and other plastids are present.3. Glyoxysomes may be present in plant cell.4. Centrioles and centrosome are absent in plant cell.5. During cell division it forms anastral spindle.
