Best Answer

One of the parallel circuit focal points is that it guarantees all parts of the circuit have the same voltage as the source. Case in point, the second or each extra light added to the circuit would have the same shine.

What are disadvantages and advantages for series circuits and parallel circuits?

Basically if there is a break in a parallel circuit then it will continue to work, whereas if there was a break in a series circuit everything will go off.

What are advantages of a series combination of resistors?

parallel combination of resistors are used in house circuits

What are the advantages and disadvantages of series circuits?

There are no particular advantages or disadvantages of series or parallel circuits. Some circuits require one while other circuits require the other. Frequency filters often require one or the other depending on whether you need a pass or rejection filter.

Can parallel circuits be used instead of fuses?

No. Parallel circuits are not fuses. Fuses can be used to protect parallel circuits.

How many circuits in the parallel circuit?

parallel circuit - a closed circuit in which the current divides into two or more paths. The circuits in a parallel circuits there are two or more circuits.

What are the advantages of Norton's theorem?

It is used to reduce the complexitiy of the networkAnswerNorton's Theorem is one of several theorems necessary to solve 'complex' circuits -i.e. circuits that are not series, parallel, or series parallel.

What does parallel circuits?

Most practical circuits are parallel circuits. A parallel circuit has two advantages: (1) the voltage appearing across each branch is the same as the supply voltage and, (2) on one branch becomes disconnected, then the other branches continue to work. The reason that (1) is important is because for a load to operate at its rated power, it must be subject to its rated voltage which is (usually) the supply voltage. All homes are connected in parallel, as are the various circuits in (for example) a car.
