Organisms often become extinct as a result of humans continuing to hunt and kill them even though they might be very few in numbers & there are no mates available with whom they can reproduce. Another cause or contributing cause can be when the basic ecological environment in which the organism requires to live & reproduce in the wild is removed or destroyed. Sometimes when people introduce foreign species to new places, they drive native species (that have not evolved a defense mechanism) to extinction. For example, introducing dogs to an island that does not have any large predators and on which Flightless Birds live. Starvation, disease, and environmental changes e.g. Ice ages, and meteor strikes. The sudden change in climate temperature, and the "over-hunting" of the species' prey can all lead to the extinction of an animal species.
that is very bad
Extinction is the rule, not the exception. That being said, I would not like to be responsible for the extinction of an animal.
Absolutely ! The human race is the only animal species on the planet that has hunted other species to extinction.
By being bred in captivity it eliminates the animals from being eaten by natural predators. We take animals into captivity to prevent extinction by eliminating factors of death.
The heterogeneous factors in an animal refers to the factors that makes the animals different from each other and one another. The includes the physical traits, the generic and the non-generic factors.
