The 2 pieces of evidence that prove the Big Bang theory is the red shift of distant galaxies and also the CMBR (the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation.)

The red shift proved that distant galaxies were moving away from us and the further the galaxy the faster it was moving away. The universe must be expanding and thus in the past it must have been smaller.

The CMBR proves that the early universe was extremely hot. As the universe grew the temperature fell.

That our Universe is expanding is irrefutably proven by the fact that, the further away a galaxy is from our Earth, the greater the red-shift of the light coming from that galaxy.

The Big Bang Theory is the only one to explain the spectrum and isotropic nature of the cosmic microwave background radiation; and the respective percentages of the elements hydrogen, helium, and lithium in our Universe. All other hypotheses have to say, "We're not sure why that's happening, it just does."

Galaxies and stars are not static. They are moving in relation to each other. This movemnet can be detected by doppler shift in the observable light.

The universe is expanding.

Therefore if it is expanding, it must have expanded from some point.

In the relatively short time that we have made scientific observations, the distance over time can be measured. So simply reversing the time and distance, the point and time of the point can be calculated. A big bang.

Everything in this universe is made up of matter that comes from the very first second of big bang. And I believe the cosmic background radiation now become the landmark of the bigbang theory, the radiation left from the very early stage of our universe
