Idaho is a very large state with a small number of colleges and universities. This is all of them: Universities: Public
University of Idaho, Moscow
Idaho State University, Pocatello
Boise State University, Boise Private
Brigham Young University-Idaho, Rexburg
George Fox University, Boise
Northwest Nazarene University, Nampa
University of Phoenix, Meridian Colleges: Public
College of Southern Idaho, Twin Falls
Eastern Idaho Technical College, Idaho Falls
Lewis-Clark State College, Lewiston
North Idaho College, Coeur d'Alene Private
Apollo College, Boise
College of Idaho, Caldwell
ITT Technical Institute, Boise
New Saint Andrews College, Moscow
Stevens-Henager College, Boise
Wesley Center for Applied Theology, Nampa. The Wesley Center for Applied Theology is Northwest Nazarene's divinity school. They come right out and tell you that. Notice something here: except for the public schools, all higher education in Idaho is either For Profit or it's affiliated with a church. Also consider: except for the College of Idaho and BYU-Idaho (formerly known as Ricks College), none of those institutions are very old--some just a few years old.
