What is of discrete uniform distribution?
A discrete uniform distribution assigns the same probability to two or more possible events. For example, there is a discrete uniform distribution associated with flipping a coin: 'heads' is assigned a probability of 1/2 as is the event 'tails'. (Note that the probabilities are equal or 'uniform'.) There is also a discrete uniform distribution associated with tossing a die in that there is a 1/6 probability for seeing each possible side of the die.

Asked in Girl Guides and Girl Scouts
Where do you put the badges on Girl Scout or Girl Guide uniform?
Badge placement on Girl Guide/Girl Scout uniforms depends on the organization the uniform is associated with and what the uniform consists of. If the uniform includes a sash, vest, or tunic, the badges go on the sash, vest, or tunic. If the uniform is a shirt, then the badges might be sewn on to the shirt, usually on the sleeves.

If a body is moving with a uniform speed what will be its velocity?
A body moving at a uniform speed may have a uniform velocity, or its velocity could be changing. How could that be? Let's look. The difference between speed and velocity is that velocity is speed with a direction vector associated with it. If a car is going from, say, Cheyenne, Wyoming to the Nebraska state line at a steady speed of 70 miles per hour, its velocity is 70 miles per hour east. Simple and easy. Uniform speed equals uniform velocity. (Yes, I-80 isn't perfectly straight there. Let's not split hairs.) But a car moving around a circular track at a uniform speed is constantly changing direction. Its speed is constant, but its velocity is changing every moment because the direction it is going is changing. Speed is uniform, but velocity isn't. As asked, uniform speed is a uniform distance per unit of time. And this will yield a uniform distance per unit of time in its velocity, but the direction vector may be uniform or it may be changing each moment, as illustrated.
