Sunlight is a good hair bleacher but you cannot stay in the sun all day. My mother way back in the 1930's used hydrogen peroxide, (H2O2) which can be bought from the chemist as a week solution for dying hair. It is also excellent for clearing wax from the ears. I have been using it for the past seventy years, for my ears not my hair of which I have very little.
