Monster Cables use Blue instead of White for the 2nd audio plug in RCA cables.
The red, white and yellow cables are RCA audio and composite video. You can use any red and white audio cables for the audio side that you might use with a CD player or cassette deck, but the video cable should have some additional shielding on it, particularly for longer runs (more than 3 feet).

Yes, it will convert the sounds, but NOT video. Use RCA Yellow Cable, male on both ends. Insert one end to the TV digital output and another to the Converter input. Use MALE RCA audio cables, RED&WHITE/BLACK, insert into Output on the Converter, use RCA Red&white/black cable from the TV-Ears and insert into Output of Converter (next to power cord). Produce super great sounds. Pranee
The yellow cable is for video and the red and white are for audio. To connect to a HDTV and receive a HD signal you need to connect 3 video cables. The yellow cable will not get you an HD connection and only a Standard TV connection. Some HDTVs have component, S video plug, and/or HDMI plugs. Since your HDTV does not have a yellow plug slot we know you do not have the component HD connection with the 3 RCA type connections for Video. You may need to purchase new cables to connect your device to the HDTV. If both your HDTV and the device have HDMI plug slot purchase a HDMI cable from any large retail store and install it.
The RCA cables got its names from the company Radio Corporation of America. The RCA connector is at times called the cinch connector or the phono connector.

Yes or fifty they would all have the same picture and it would be just like at the Store with a group of TVs with the same picture. You would need to purchase separate connections and a system to split the signal or a splitter To hook up a second set you need the Standard A/V cable for the PS3. The first step is to get the RCA connection split into two for the RED White and Yellow RCA plugs so you can then plug them into two TVs. That would mean purchase of 3 Y RCA connection cables that split a single connection into two. You would also need up to 6 cables with a female RCA connection either on the cable or on both sides of the Y cable. You will not need the cables if the Y cables are long enough to reach each TVs RCA inputs. They also sell and you might need to purchase dual female RCA adaptors to allow connection of two male RCA cables
Just plug yellow to yellow, and white to white. Yellow is video, red and white are stereo audio, but if you have no stereo input, you just use the white (i.e. mono). For some cables you use red instead of white, but this is rare. In some games, you can go into the settings and choose mono instead of stereo.
