There are several different repair shops that you could bring your car to. Some good national chains are Firestone, STS, and Pep Boys. I personally have used Firestone and their prices and service are good.
There are so many auto brake mechanics to choose from but I would go with someone you were happy with in the past or with a very reputable company like Midas.
any DOT 3 brake fluid, avaible in most retail giants and auto parts stores
I'm unemployed at the moment, so I juse use my personal voicemail as a sort of auto answering service.
DOT3 regular brake fluid. Find it in any auto parts store.
no, but if you have a auto transmission you can you can use that for power steering
Your vehicle can use the dot 3 or dot 4 brake fluid will be fine. Most newer cars use either grade.I will say the brand name does not matter, auto zones, advance auto,or even walmarts super tech brand brake fluid all work the same.Easy and simple.
all mechanical parts can be cleaned with gasoline. brake linings with brake fluid can be cleaned with hot waterthe hotter the better
Use a Turkey baster to remove all the fluid in the reservoir then use a rag to clean the reservoir of anything that remains. Now refill the reservoir with clean brake fluid. I would also recommend that the brake system be bleed to remove the old brake fluid. As it is a recommended the Fluid should be replaced as a preventive maintenance service, and may need replacement every two years or 24,000 miles. There is a tool available at auto parts store to help you D.I.Y this or you can take it to someone and have it done.
You will need to use the universal brake lines sold at auto stores. You can check at a Chrysler dealer but I think they are discontinued there.
DOT 3 brake fluid
You should use DOT 4 if the manufacturer calls for it.
First, what makes you sure it's the brake chamber? If your brakes are releasing when you push in the emergency air, but applying the foot brakes (which use the service line) has no effect, then the boot (gasket) within the brake chamber is probably worn, if it is a brake chamber issue. If you have a codriver (or just someone who can push on a brake), you should follow your service (blue) line under your trailer until you find a connector which you can uncouple. Once that's done, have them hit the brake pedal and see if air is even getting through the service line before you start messing with the brake chamber.
