What aye-aye eats?

It has been noted that the fossa (Cryptoprocta ferox) is capable of preying upon the Aye-aye, but it is unclear from the literature whether it has ever been observed. Otherwise, no other predators are currently know.

Although they don't usually kill them for food, many rural Malagasy people kill them because they believe the Aye-aye brings bad luck or even death.
