J. Geils
J. Geils Band
Amy Jones
As of my last update in October 2023, Peter Wolf is not a member of the J. Geils Band, as the band disbanded in 2017 following the passing of guitarist J. Geils. While Wolf has continued to pursue his solo career and perform, the original lineup of the band is no longer active.
Peter Wolf was not officially fired from the J. Geils Band; rather, he left the band in 1983 after they faced creative differences and declining popularity. The band's sound had evolved, and Wolf sought to pursue a solo career, which ultimately led to the group's disbandment in the early 1980s. Their reunion in the 1990s saw Wolf return, but by then, the dynamics had shifted significantly.
