It's double A batteries.
It uses AA sized alkaline batteries. But due to the fact that the Portal eats the batteries FAST...I recommend using Long lasting AA alkaline batteries.Take Duracell for example(which are the batteries I use for my portal).
You Just Need TO put new batteries In if you look At The Bottom You Should See A screw And Unscrew It The Portal Takes Double AA Batteries Just Get A Normal Sized screwdriver and take the OLD batteries out and put the new ones out
2,000 batteries
I assume you are talking about Skylanders. The game comes with instructions that tell you how, but I will tell you anyway. Once you have the batteries put into the portal, unplug the USB from the portal and put it into the back of your game system. Then press the little black button on the inside of the portal and the black button on the USB. Next, screw the battery compartment shut and press the power button on the outside of the portal. You may need to press and hold, but the LED lights on the portal will flash and turn on and you can now start the game.

Power One batteries is a brand of rechargeable batteries. The manufacture website lists several different types of batteries including Li-ion, Ni-Cd and VLRA batteries in standard batteries sizes such as AAA and AA.
No, not directly anyway. Some power plants may use batteries for emergency power supplies.
The most common size batteries are AA. These batteries are used for remotes, digital cameras and a variety of children's toys. It's always a bad situation when you find yourself out of batteries when you need them a good solution for making sure this doesn't happen is to keep a constant rotation of rechargeable batteries available. When ever you replace your rechargeable batteries take the dead batteries and put them in the charger so they are ready to power the next device that runs out of power.
