To become an investment banker, you need to go to college and get a degree. You will need to be a business major. You will need to take many finance classes.
i would have to say no it isn't because most young men and women go to college to get a good education
Quite honestly, I think this question can not have a definite answer. I personally believe it is more opinionated; and here is what I think: Increasing the number of Americans with college education will not technically increase economic growth. Just because more Americans have a college education and are more applicable for a better job doesn't necessarily mean unemployment rates will go up. Not only are people who don't have college degrees being laid off, but people without a college education are, as well. American economy has more problems beside the fact that only about 27.7% of all high school graduates obtain a Bachelor's degree. Many other problems are also at hand, that begin in the government; such as deficits, corruption, etc. Therefore, I do not believe that increasing the number of Americans with college education will increase economic growth. This is my opinion, feel free to disagree.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, and don't use it in my work at all. I have a Master's degree in Adult Education, which I make extensive use of in my work in investment education. Yes, college is a financial investment. Typically, it brings a lot of student loans, so you will not see the investment until after the loans are paid off.

The investment pays off in a lifetime. A high school graduate doesn't earn the same amount of money a person with a college degree does. You can live life hard without things you want or you can live it better with more money. I have worked jobs that didn't require an education and jobs with an education and I can tell you an job that is professional is better.
Approximately 56% of college students in the United States are women. This percentage has been steadily increasing over the years, with women now outnumbering men in higher education enrollment.
