Raptors prey on other creatures. Hawks, eagles, owls, vultures, falcons are well known as carnivores, but others eat fish, frogs, insects, and other creatures. Even seedeaters like finches and sparrows consume insects from time to time.

Actually, many birds are, at least to some degree. When we think of carnivorous birds we instantly think of hawks, eagles, owls and other such Birds of Prey. But birds like herons, gulls, gannets, puffins and most sea birds are flesh eaters. Even the shrike sometimes feeds on smaller birds. And if you include insects, that would encompass nearly all the birds in the world, at least for a period in their lives.
