A naked bird. No, not really. It depends on the level of Asthma you have. But, no matter what level you have, avoid the set hree bird types: Cockatiels, Cockatoos, and African Grays. The not only produce feathers(as every bird does) but they also produce a kind of bird dander. And as you are an asthmatic, think about it you really want a bird. Feathers and feather particles are bound to always be circulating in the room the bird is in. Other birds are generally good with asthmatics, again, it varies in your degree of asthma. Having birds will go better with people who have a low degree of asthma.

Problems with feathers that can interfere with your asthma can be reduced. Vacuum and dust the room the bird is in often. Install a filter that doesn't produce Ozone layer or whatever it is(it hurts the bird in some way, apparently). Try to put the bird in a room without a carpet. Replace drapes with blinds if possible. And bathe the bird often. Not every day, but once a week at the least.
