i lived in England and all i can remember was the robin!
They migrate to the south.
In my opinion, I don't like England. It gets cold, its dirty, and it rains alot.
Birds migrate to Florida for winter because up north, the winter gets very cold and the birds don't like being so cold, so they fly south for winter where its not so cold as up north.
Birds that move as the season changes. If a bird primarily eat insects it'd starve if it stayed somewhere where winters get cold.
New Jersey can get very cold in the winter. In Autumn New Jersey gets noticeably colder. New Jersey has snow and ice storms in the winter.
if hey are birds they fly to the south but usullay at the bottom of the ocean it is not froze!
in some places it snows, there is rain, bare trees, ice, frost, windy, cold, hail, grey skies, gets dark early, gets light late, less time in the day has sunshine, less birds and wildlife etc. hope it was useful :)
Yes,migration is survival usually birds or other creatures only migrate south because it gets cold.
Not all birds fly south for the winter. The ones who do, however, are driven by a need for available food. As their food supply dwindles they will fly to where food is more plentiful. Therfore, migration will usually happen in the autumn months.
Nope. There are no birds that hibernate. If the weather gets too cold for them, they migrate away. One of the conveniences of being able to fly.
The same reason you don't freeze and fall when it's below freezing. Birds have a metabolism that keeps them warm in addition to their feathers, and flying helps keep it up. Different species can tolerate different amounts of cold, and the ones that don't tolerate it are not generally found in regions where it gets too cold for them.
During extreme cold weather, the birds migrate to far places which are warmer comparatively, generally for mating and laying their eggs they need a warm place. So eventually the population of birds decrease for that particular place. But after the cold weather gets over they return.
