Who is Sorreltail?
Sorreltail is a tortoiseshell-and-white she-cat with amber eyes and she is from ThunderClan. She is one of Willowpelt's kits, her father is Whitestorm and she has two littermates, Sootfur and Rainwhisker. In the book "The Darkest Hour", when Sorreltail was just a kit, she followed Darkstripe out of camp and eavesdrops on him while he talks to Blackfoot of ShadowClan. When Darkstripe finds out that she overheard them, he becomes angry, but doesn't show it and gives her and attempts to kill her by feeding her deathberries and saying that they are a special treat to reward her. Sorrelkit(tail) almost dies, but Cinderpelt kept her alive. When she regains consciousness she tells Firestar the whole story and Darkstripe is exiled from ThunderClan and he goes straight to Tigerstar. Later in "The New Prophecy" series, Sorreltail becomes the mother of Brackenfur's kits. One of them was named Cinderkit, she is named after Cinderpelt because had died saving Sorreltail and her kits from the badger attack. Cinderkit(heart) is later discovered to be the reincarnation of Cinderpelt. Cinderheart is essentially what Cindereplt would have been as a warrior. Sorreltail's other kits are Poppykit(frost), Honeykit(fern) and Molekit(paw). Molepaw dies later. Poppyfrost and Honeyfern become warriors before Cinderheart because a tree fell on her and broke her leg. Jaypaw(feather) healed her leg by teaching her how to swim.
