It was in Kasper the prince of cats.
Kaspar is from Russia
Well it is based on a mixture of fact plus fiction. When Michael Morpurgo (the author of Kaspar the prince of cats) went to the savoy hotel, he saw a statue of a cat, he asked someone why it was there and he said, that the cat was called Kaspar and he was the prince of cats and suggested that he should make a book about him. He refused, but then when he went down a staircase from the savoy hotel it reminded him of the Titanic, then he though, Kaspar living at the savoy hotel and Titanic then he made his book. However other characters are just plain fake (e.g. Johnny Trott was made by his imagination).
